Super Swinger -- Féliz Slams 5 Hits
|
All game long, Little Rock's Lorenzo Féliz was rattling the walls at Empire Stadium and banging out base hits against the Minnesota Death Stars. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Lemmiwinks had a 15-3 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old shortstop said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Lorenzo Féliz singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Kurt Brown in the 9th.
So far this season Féliz is hitting .414 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 29 at-bats and a .500 OBP.
