Multi-HR Day for Young as River Sharks Overpower Machine, 14-8
The Austin River Sharks downed the Chicago Machine, 14-8, at Greendale Community Field. Edward Young led the way, going 3-for-5 for Austin. With the win, the River Sharks have a record of 19-25.

Young had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The River Sharks went on to win.

River Sharks manager Will Shaw wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
