Collins Now 4-2 After Subduing Bandits
|
Orlando Calrissian starter Mark Collins was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the San Francisco Bandits, 3-0. Dave Heath nailed down his 9th save. Orlando's record now stands at 17-24, placing them third in the National League Southern Division.
Collins, who dominated for Orlando, earned the victory to move to 4-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 8 innings, while striking out 8. San Francisco batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
Collins told a Orlando Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
