Big Day for Cruz: Swats 5 Hits
It was a parade of hits for Aurelio Cruz of the Newark Bulldogs at Newark Recreational Ballpark today.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Cruz finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bulldogs to a 20-4 victory.

"Cruz was really good and we were really bad," groaned ManBearPigs manager Reginaldo Asselin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Aurelio Cruz hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

This year Cruz has hit at a .442 clip with 9 RBIs, no home runs and 16 runs scored.
