Rebels Lose to Marshals, 2-1
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Houston Marshals and the Boston Rebels, Stanley Inman was the difference-maker. The Houston left-hander earned player of the game honors in the 2-1 win. Vinícius Itaquy locked down his 15th save. Houston now has a 4-game win streak.
In the top of the fifth inning, second baseman Esteban Lara came through big-time for the Marshals. With Houston leading 1-0, he belted a solo home run.
"We did just enough to win," Lara said.
