Marshals Turn Back Bandits, 5-3
|
Houston starter Daniel Grant pitched effectively against the San Francisco Bandits at Bay View Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Houston currently is in 4th place in the Continental League Central Division at 20-21.
Raúl Soto aided the Houston cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
"I felt good up there," said Soto. "I saw the ball well."
