Vista got a terrific performance from pitcher Dillon Nelson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pocatello Bellas. Pocatello won the Stone Brewery Stadium contest, 6-3. Nelson was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Getting the save was Jaime Espinoza, his 11th. Pocatello has now won 3 straight, while the Panthers have lost 3 in a row.

The Bellas got a big at-bat from designated hitter Shane Hutchinson. For the game, Hutchinson was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Pocatello a 5-3 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Hutchinson told reporters after the game.
