Huggins Sensational for Knights
|
New York got a first-rate effort from pitcher Leo Huggins, who frustrated Boston hitters en route to a 3-0 Knights triumph at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark. The Rebels fall to 12-19 and continue their uneven start to the 2029 season.
Huggins, a native of Dallas, Texas, was dealing all game. He kept Boston hitters off-balance, while giving the Knights 8 quality innings. Huggins threw 91 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Huggins.
