Calrissian Rally For Late Win Over Rebels
|
Orlando starter Mark Collins had a strong outing against the Boston Rebels at Fenway Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Collins, now 3-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 9, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. The Rebels fall to 11-16 and continue their uneven start to the 2029 season.
The Calrissian got a big at-bat from left fielder Raúl Canó. For the game, Canó was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Orlando a 4-1 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Collins.
