Kenilworth beat Maui in a rain-soaked ballgame.
Kenilworth Aces starter Erwin Entwistle was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Maui Tropics, 10-1. Entwistle, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 4 walks.
Wilbert Rodgers aided the Kenilworth cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rodgers said after the game.
The Tropics fall to 9-12 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2029 season.
