| Beavers Win at Maui, 13-12 | Despite a fine performance by catcher Michael Woodruff, the Maui Tropics suffered a 13-12 loss to the Baffin Island Beavers. Woodruff was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Tony Rocha was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 26 save opportunities. The Beavers bumped their record to 85-64 with this latest triumph.
The result might have been different for Baffin Island, had it not been for Alden Isenhood. The second baseman produced a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beavers ahead, 13-12. For the game, Isenhood had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
