The Chicago Machine defeated the Pocatello Bellas, 5-1, in Continental League action at Old Comiskey Park, with Chicago pitcher Ron Martin named player of the game. In 7.1 innings, Martin surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run.
