Noise Come Back Late to Clip Gang Green

Nevada and Irvine duked it out at The Ballpark at Irvine and the Noise came out victorious.
The Nevada Noise beat the Irvine Gang Green, 6-3, at The Ballpark at Irvine. Nevada catcher Víctor Serrano earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The winner was Yoshihiro Hasegawa in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Frank Jackson took the loss.
The Noise got a big at-bat from designated hitter Santiago Márquez. For the game, Márquez went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 9th hit of the season gave Nevada a 4-3 lead.
"It feels good to get this one," Serrano told the Nevada Observer.
With the loss, Irvine drops to 9-6.
