| Panthers Get Road Win, 6-1 | 2029 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Seattle Pikes.
Seattle had no answer for Vista Panthers hurler Craig Lewis, who overwhelmed Pikes hitters as the Panthers coasted to a 6-1 victory. Vista reliever Craig Lewis was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Christian Camden took the loss for Seattle.
Jake Reeves, the first overall pick in the 2026 draft, aided the Vista cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Reeves told a Vista Citizen reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
Vista now owns a record of 67-71.
