| Rebels Solve 84s, 5-4 | The Boston Rebels had to overcome a big game from Greenville second baseman Enzo Díaz to leave Fenway Park with a 5-4 victory. Díaz was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Boston reliever Ramón López picked up the win, upping his record to 6-6. Dave Smith took the loss. The Rebels saw their win-loss record go to 52-86. At the same time, the 84s fell to 90-48.
António Enríquez drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Boston. The 32-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dave Smith. It was his 50th walk of the season.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Enríquez told the Boston Daily News.
