| Oilers Drop Marshals with Late Score | The El Dorado Oilers took Houston pitcher Stanley Inman's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Mythology Coliseum. The final score had El Dorado getting past the Marshals, 5-4. Inman went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 7. Kuang-yin Yue got the save, his 25th in 30 chances. El Dorado is now riding a 3-game win streak.
José Carlos Caraballo's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a cutter from Vinícius Itaquy for a run-scoring single. It put El Dorado in front, 5-4.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Caraballo.
