| Calrissian Come Back Late, Nip Hitmen | Hendersonville third baseman Miguel González had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. González went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, even as Orlando beat the Hitmen, 6-5. González was named the player of the game despite the loss. Dave Heath, credited with the save, is now 19 for 22 in save opportunities. The last-place Hitmen have dropped 8 straight games.
Zack Payton hit a 2-run double off Ignacio Morales in the top of the eighth, which put the Calrissian in front, 6-5. In addition to the double, Payton had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Payton told the Orlando Bulletin.
