Calrissian Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Orlando Calrissian got a strong performance from pitcher José Castro, who stymied the Hendersonville offense en route to a 7-2 win at Agent 47 Field. Orlando is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 5th in 13 games.
The Calrissian got a big at-bat from first baseman Albert Chávez. For the game, Chávez was 1-3. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 1st hit of the season gave Orlando a 3-1 lead.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Chávez.
