The San Francisco Bandits got a superb performance from left fielder Mario García, but the Nevada Noise still won the game, 10-7. García was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Noise bumped their record to 66-58 with this latest triumph.

Nevada took a 10-7 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, first baseman Bob Smith hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Smith, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
