| Tropics Lose Again, 8-2, to Gang Green | The Irvine Gang Green topped the Maui Tropics, 8-2, in National League action at The Ballpark at Irvine. The player of the game was Irvine pitcher Mike Marrero. The 4th-place Tropics have lost 6 consecutive games.
The Gang Green got a big at-bat from left fielder Tyler Wagner. For the game, Wagner went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Irvine a 4-1 lead.
