Anderson Shines in Calrissian Win | The Orlando Calrissian downed the So Cal Bruins, 6-3, at Mel Fields. Rich Anderson led the way, going 3-for-4 for Orlando. Dave Heath, credited with the save, is now 16 for 19 in save opportunities. The win puts the Calrissian at 49-68, while the Bruins drop to 70-47.
Anderson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch changeup from Marty Burgess, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Calrissian a 6-3 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Anderson.
"Feels good to get the job done," Anderson said after the game.
