| Pikes Jolt G-Strings with Late Rally | Seattle Pikes starter Jesús Martínez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Nashville G-Strings, 6-2. Francisco Carrasco got credit for the win, improving to 6-5. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Cristián Escobar earned his 21st save in 22 chances.
The Pikes got a big at-bat from left fielder Juan García. For the game, García went 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Seattle a 3-2 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Martínez said after the game.
