| Vickers Helps 84s Run Win Streak to 7 | Jimmy Vickers added some punch to the Greenville offense, helping them outmuscle the Pocatello Bellas, 11-7. In the game, Vickers, who is tied for 2nd in the CL in extra base hits with 61, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Reliever Ricardo Trujillo picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Jaime Espinoza took the loss. The 84s, now 75-41, have won 7 in a row.
Brock Larsen, who leads the CL in extra base hits with 62, helped out the Greenville cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.
