| Hitmen Turn Back New York, 9-7 | The Hendersonville Hitmen picked up a win at Agent 47 Field, knocking off the New York Knights, 9-7. On the mound for Hendersonville was right-hander Júlio Torres, who played a pivotal role in the win. The 'W' lifts Hendersonville's record to 43-73.
Tommy Payne drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Hendersonville. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth.
