Athletics Jolt Looters with Late Rally | The Philadelphia Athletics picked up a win at Edmund Fitzgerald Field, knocking off the New Orleans Looters, 4-2. Starting pitcher Keith Swanson was an essential part of his team's success. Even with the win, the Athletics have a dismal 40-76 record.
Anastasio Villa was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Athletics third baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Swanson said.
