| G-Strings Turn Back Boston, 4-3 | The Nashville G-Strings picked up a win at Gibson Guitar Park, knocking off the Boston Rebels, 4-3. Starting pitcher Javier García, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. García went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 13-8. The Rebels, now 39-72, have lost 4 in a row.
The G-Strings got a big at-bat from designated hitter Robinson Fernández. For the game, Fernández was 1-3 with a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Nashville a 4-3 lead.
