| Royale with Cheese Score Late, Stun Oilers, 3-2 | The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese scored a 3-2 win versus the El Dorado Oilers at Hawthrone Grill. Kalamazoo pitcher Salvador Castro nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Kalamazoo has now won 10 straight.
Ron Robinson was the walk-off hero for Kalamazoo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Royale with Cheese first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Royale with Cheese manager Domingos Jacobsen, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
