| Rojas, Sheens Beat Pikes, 8-4 | St Charles played host to Seattle at the friendly confines of Crown Royal Stadium.
St Charles catcher Juan Jose Rojas was instrumental in his team's 8-4 win over the Seattle Pikes. Rojas, who is a four-time All-Star, went 2-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Sheens. St Charles reliever Jesse Jones picked up the win to move to 2-3. José Jiménez suffered the loss.
Rojas had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count sinker from Rubén Rico, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Sheens a 5-4 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Rojas.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Rojas said after the game.
At 40-70, the Sheens are currently 4th in the Continental League Western Division.
