| Rockets Prevail, 6-4, Over Vista | Getting a good performance from third baseman Juan Romero, the Nassau Rockets defeated the Vista Panthers, 6-4. Romero was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rockets. Nassau reliever Jason Drake picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Kitahachi Okada shouldered the loss. Dave Miller converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.
Romero had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rockets went on to win.
"We played hard and won," said Romero. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
Nassau is in second place in the National League Southern Division with a record of 61-46.
