Kings Get Road Win, 6-2 | The Kansas City Kings got a strong performance from pitcher Gene McNeil, who stymied the Nashville offense en route to a 6-2 win at Gibson Guitar Park. McNeil, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Manuel Parra, credited with the save, is now 5 for 5 in save opportunities.
It could have been a different outcome for Kansas City, had it not been for Eric Fuller, the 28-year old third baseman . Fuller contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Kansas City up, 5-2.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McNeil.
Kansas City is now riding a 3-game win streak.
