| Beavers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Vista, 5-4 | The Baffin Island Beavers downed the Vista Panthers, 5-4, at Stone Brewery Stadium. Tony Morton led the way, going 2-for-2 for Baffin Island. The Beavers bumped their record to 59-42 with this latest triumph.
Morton went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once against the Panthers. With the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that scored 1 and put Baffin Island in front, 5-4.
"I felt good up there," said Morton. "I saw the ball well."
