| Johnson Cops 300th Save, Jersey Shore Tops Stars 6-3 | After the game the Jersey Shore D-Bags outstanding reliever Gerald Johnson celebrated his 300th-career save by reminiscing about his first save. "I remember it clearly. I was a rookie and the last one standing in the bullpen in an extra-inning game. Our staff was worn to a frazzle and was desperate for a pitcher. So they put me in. I faced four batters, rung up the victory and took the first step toward 300 saves."
The 33-year-old Johnson got number 300 by preserving the D-Bags 6-3 win over the Springfield Stars.
