| Royale with Cheese Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus St. Louis | The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese and St. Louis Browns completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese defeated the St. Louis Browns, 6-4, at Gateway Stadium today. Leading the charge for Kalamazoo was left fielder Bill McJannett. He was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Salvador Castro got the win, improving to 9-6. He worked 5 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Armen Boyajian was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 5 save opportunities.
McJannett had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Royale with Cheese went on to win.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," McJannett said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Royale with Cheese.
