| Looters Topple Beavers with Late Rally | The New Orleans Looters got a stellar performance from pitcher Roy March, who handcuffed the Baffin Island offense en route to a 4-2 win at The Bayou at Heineken Field. The win was credited to Fergus Wakeford in relief. His record improves to 8-0. Colm Stewart took the loss. New Orleans is now 64-37, 6 games up in the National League Southern Division.
Had Dave O'Loan not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, O'Loan hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Looters.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said March.
