| Losing Streak Continues for Hitmen with 7-2 Loss to Aces | The Kenilworth Aces beat the Hendersonville Hitmen, 7-2, at Play Rocks Field. Kenilworth third baseman Jorge Jiménez earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Scot MacIntosh converted his 2nd save in 2 tries. The first-place Aces, at 69-30, now lead their division by 10½ games.
Jiménez had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Aces went on to win.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Kenilworth manager Ismael Martínez. "Our pregame was pretty good."
