| Hutchinson 4-4, Bellas Move to 66-34 | It was a good time at Connie Mack Stadium, where fans came to watch the Houston Marshals and Pocatello Bellas get after it.
The Pocatello Bellas beat the Houston Marshals, 10-6, at Connie Mack Stadium. The Bellas got a fine performance from second baseman Shane Hutchinson, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs. The Bellas, at 66-34, have a comfortable 14-game lead in their division.
The Bellas got a big at-bat from catcher Nick Cox. For the game, Cox was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 93rd hit of the season gave Pocatello a 8-6 lead.
"We take it day by day here," said Hutchinson, "and today was a good one for us."
