| Kings Best Bellas in Pitching Duel | Kansas City starter Raymond Gregg pitched effectively against the Pocatello Bellas at The Throne Room. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. The Kings bumped their record to 54-41 with this latest triumph.
Had Ron Crawford not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Crawford hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Kings.
Gregg called the triumph "a good team win."
