| Thompson Helps G-Strings Run Win Streak to 3 | The Nashville G-Strings beat the Orlando Calrissian, 15-10, at Gibson Guitar Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Eric Thompson, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Nashville has now won 3 in a row.
Jorge Flores, who is tied for 8th in the CL in doubles with 24, aided the Nashville cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Flores told the Nashville Citizen.
