| Stars Even With Bellas After Walk-Off Win | The Springfield Stars and the Pocatello Bellas will take the League Championship to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation at Kekambas Park today, the Stars beat the Bellas 5-4 on a walk-off in extra innings to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Springfield third baseman Jesús Tobías was named player of the game in the win after he was 4 for 6 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times.
Late in the game, designated hitter Felipe Guerrero had a big at-bat for Springfield. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single off Jesús López. The play gave the Stars a 5-4 lead.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Tobías told reporters after the game.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Kekambas Park. Slated to start are Kevin Bush for the Pocatello Bellas and José López for the the Springfield Stars.
