| Raucous Beaver Dam Crowd Propels Beavers to 4-2 Victory; Series Tied at 2 | Leave it to the veteran.
The Baffin Island Beavers got a great start from 34-year-old right-hander Reagan Wear, who earned player of the game honors today as Baffin Island won the contest 4-2 at Beaver Dam. Wear threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball in the win, which knotted the best-of-7 series at 2-2.
Tony Morton chipped in for Baffin Island with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Wear said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Beaver Dam in Iqaluit. Slated to start are José Martínez for the Kenilworth Aces and Braydon Schute for the the Baffin Island Beavers.
