Victory Pushes Browns Record to 91-73 | St. Louis Browns starter Bernardo Miranda was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kansas City Kings, 7-1. The Browns bumped their record to 91-73 with this latest triumph.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when right fielder Marvin Morris drew a walk. The Browns went on to win.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said St. Louis manager Jeff Porter.
