| Bandits Lose to Bruins, 5-4 | The So Cal Bruins beat the San Francisco Bandits, 5-4 at Jersey West at Staples Field, in part due to second baseman Sam Wallace, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. So Cal starter Ramiro Jiménez was credited with the win after throwing 108 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 7-3. The Bruins bumped their record to 54-35 with this latest triumph.
Patrick Osborne aided the So Cal cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
