Pikes Lose, 4-2, at Connie Mack Stadium | The Pocatello Bellas stopped the Seattle Pikes, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Juan Rodríguez. The 31-year old left fielder made life miserable for Seattle pitching. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jaime Espinoza earned his 25th save in 27 chances. Seattle's current losing streak has reached 6 games.
Early in the game, left fielder Francisco Ibarra had a 2-run single for Pocatello. It was his 90th hit of the season and put the Bellas on top, 3-1.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Ibarra said.
