Noise Rally For Late Win Over Tropics | The Nevada Noise picked up a win at Rainbow Stadium, knocking off the Maui Tropics, 3-2. Starting pitcher Dan Wilson played a key role in the triumph. Nevada now has a 3-game win streak.
One important at-bat came with a runner on 2nd in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Maui hurler César Rúbio, Milton Watson, who is tied for 3rd in the NL in bases on balls with 54, drew a walk. The Noise went on to win.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Wilson told reporters after the game.
