| Panthers Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus New York | The New York Knights and Vista Panthers cranked it up at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark.
The Vista Panthers bested the New York Knights, 8-5, at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark. Bonifacio Torres was named player of the game. He was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Vista is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Torres had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 3-1 cutter from Fernando Valdés, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Panthers a 8-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Torres.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Vista manager Tim Fulgham.
