5 Hits for Rebels Santos | It was high-fives all around for Guillermo Santos at Miller Park today.
He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Minnesota ManBearPigs. Santos smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 11-4 win.
"Guillermo was hitting everything," said Rebels manager Chris Harris. "It really was a special game for him."
In the opposing dugout, ManBearPigs manager Reginaldo Asselin told BNN beat writers that Santos "ambushed" the club.
"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Santos oversleeps next time."
Guillermo Santos singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Thus far this year Santos has hit .344 with 22 home runs and 91 RBIs. | |
