| Bellas Clip Stars in Tight Contest | The Pocatello Bellas picked up a win at Connie Mack Stadium, knocking off the Springfield Stars, 4-3. Starting pitcher Kevin Bush, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The winner was Jaime Espinoza in relief. His record improves to 5-3. José Valdéz took the loss. Pocatello improves to 56-26 with the win. They lead their division by 9˝ games.
Nick Cox was the walk-off hero for Pocatello. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bellas catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bush told the Pocatello Today.
