Ángel Helps Calrissian Run Win Streak to 4 | The Orlando Calrissian defeated the New York Knights, 5-3, at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark. Orlando first baseman Gabriel Ángel was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Xavier Velázquez in relief. His record improves to 2-5. James Jones took the loss. Will Huggins was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 7 save opportunities.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Ángel, who is rated as the 99th best prospect by BNN, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Calrissian into the lead, 5-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ángel told the Orlando Bulletin.
