| Bellas Top Hitmen Behind Pérez, 6-0 | Pitcher Armando Pérez was sensational for the Pocatello Bellas in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Hendersonville Hitmen. Pérez received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Pocatello goes to 54-25. The win puts them 9½ games up in their division.
In his 95-pitch effort, Pérez allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 6.2 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 5.
"I thought we played a nice game," Pérez told the Pocatello Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
