| Bruins Get Close Win Over Bandits | So Cal left fielder Chris Bates had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 11-4 win over the San Francisco Bandits. So Cal has 3 straight wins, San Francisco 3 straight losses.
Bates had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 cutter from Carlos Ledezma, he banged a bases-clearing double to right-center, giving the Bruins a 7-4 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Bates.
